Due to our veteran experience in controls, one of the unique services we've been able to offer recently is education and training. As the old guard is giving way to the new, we've had several opportunities to help train engineers and designers.
Traditional education typically involves sending personnel to generic training such as AutoDesk's AutoCAD Electrical training, a supplier's NEC or UL-related seminar, or a PLC supplier's programming classes. This training can be beneficial, but it does not always directly relate to an employee's application or projects. In addition, significant time can pass between training and projects, making recalling the training difficult. Hallfield Controls offers an alternative. Our hands-on training is the best way to introduce your team to our work.
We prefer to provide hands-on training. Instead of employees attending canned classes with canned content, we work hand-in-hand with an individual to work through a
design
or a
program
for a real project at a customer's facility.
When you are ready to begin a project, we meet to kick it off (as with any other project) but then leave the bulk of work to the individuals being trained. We set small milestones and stay in frequent contact as we work through the project one step at a time until the design or application is complete. We can be involved as little or as much as required to meet the needs of you and your team. Through this process, you are able to accomplish a project while training your staff for the future.
